Print Design
Despite the ever-growing dominance of the digital media, print still holds a place of its own. The tactile quality, freedom of use-at-will, helps retain this centuries old communication medium.
Today, the challenges in print design are greater than ever before. Most times we are trying to hold the attention of the same audience to whom interacting with dynamic media is an integral part of their lives. They are more demanding in terms of information and user satisfaction.
Any form of communication design is grounded in the cardinal rule; “Understand your target audience, and work with the medium”, and print design is no different. However the fact remains that the human mind is affected by a visual first, be it a graphic or design in the form of typography, and then makes the decision to read. In print design, brilliant copy is wasted unless it is preceded by a visual that really touches the senses.
